The British Museum

The British Museum was founded in 1753. It's remarkable collection spans over two million years of human history. You can see treasures of different world cultures under one roof.

World-famous objects such as the Rosetta Stone, Parthenon sculptures, and Egyptian mummies are visited by up to six million visitors per year. 

In addition to the vast permanent collection, the museum's special exhibitions, displays and events are all designed to advance understanding of the collection and cultures they represent.

        Kyiv 

The Golden Gate

Kyiv is the capital of Ukraine. It is a big city.
About three million people live there.
Kyiv is situated on the Dnipro, the biggest Ukrainian river. Khreschatyk is the main street in Kyiv.
Kyiv is the most beautiful in May when chestnut trees are in blossom.
There are many places of interest in Kyiv: the Golden Gate, St. Sophia Cathedral, Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, museums and monuments.
When I was in Kyiv I visited ....
